This $900 Sony Mirrorless Camera Has The World's Fastest Autofocus

Sony has officially announced its new mid-range Alpha A6400 APS-C mirrorless camera, an upgrade to last year's model. The Alpha A6400 features a 24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor with a front-end LSI and the same BIONZ X image processor found in the A9, A7R III and A7 III.


The A64000 gets Real-Time AF Tracking with AI-based subject recognition, and according to Sony, features the world's fastest autofocus at just 0.02 sec. The camera can shoot at up to 11fps with both AF and AE with a buffer of 116 JPEG shots. The A6400 offers ISO sensitivity levels up to 102,400 and processing speeds 1.8x faster than the A6300.
The Sony Alpha A6400 will be available in the US from early February starting at 
$900 (around Rs. 63,000) for the body only.
